2025 Retreat Information

OPC WOMEN’S RETREAT

April 4-6, 2025, at Camp Maranatha in Idyllwild, California

Adult women of all ages and life-stages are invited to spend a weekend with their sisters in Christ in the beautiful San Jacinto Mountainss, fellowshipping, learning, and growing together.

REGISTRATION CLOSES MARCH 28, 2025!

Our speaker, Lisa Howard, will be speaking about Battling the Joy Stealers.

Lisa is a retired nurse and a member of Harvest OPC in San Marcos where she serves as a Sunday school teacher and Women’s Bible study leader. She has been an OPC Women’s Retreat participant for many years and was the MC for over 10 years. Her passion is being a life-long student of God’s Word with the goal of always learning and growing in Gospel joy.

If our chief end is to “glorify God and to enJOY Him forever,” why do we sometimes find ourselves relinquishing our joy so easily?  Lisa is going to help us to identify four main categories of “joy-stealers,” and together we will discover four powerful weapons with which we can do battle with each corresponding joy-stealer.  These weapons will be found in the four chapters that make up the book of Philippians, which has been called The Epistle of Joy.

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice.
